Managing Director
Mr. Narain Holani is the Managing Director of Acme Chem Limited, which he founded in the year 1992. He is a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan, a Premier Institute of Science and Technology. Immediately after his Bachelors, he joined Penta Chem Limited, as a Director-Stakeholder to turnaround the company from sickness. which he successfully steered out of sickness within a span of two years. Though his initial business venture in Rubber Chemical was started in the state West Bengal and because of long visionary forecast, he shifted his manufacturing activity from Bengal to Gujarat, the modern day Chemical Hub and has set-up his Plant near Ankleshwar. His hard work, dedication, sharp business acumen and clear focus on product line has turned the company into dominant player in the field where it operates. He has got close-relationship with all the major players in the Tyre Industry, domestic as well as international. He is a great contributor in the development of Science & Technology, particularly in the Rubber Chemical filed.
Director
Mr. Sajjan Kumar Sharma is an All India Rank Holder Qualified Chartered Accountant , Company Secretary and a Commerce Graduate .Mr Sharma has an experience of over 20 years in the field of Accounting and Auditing. Before joining as a Board of Director of our organization, Mr Sharma has worked at senior management level with leading Chartered Accountant firm: Lodha & Co.He has served various industrial sectors including Banking, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Power, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Steel, FMCG and Healthcare and thereby, has extensive experience with large conglomerates like Reserve Bank of India, Mittal Steel, Reliance, ITC, CESC, Jindal Power, Hindustan National Glass, Duncan Group, Apeejay Group, Anmol Biscuits, Apollo Gleneagles among others. His other fields of interest and practice include social service, in depth study and diffusion of knowledge on Vedas, Upnishads and various other religious scriptures a. He is Convener of Swasthya Jagriti Sansthan, a society spreading knowledge of Prevention/Early Detection of Cancer amongst masses.
Director
Mr. Rishabh Holani, son of Mr. Narain Holani, the Promoter of the Company has joined the organisation as a director assisting the Managing Director in discharging his day to day responsibilities. Rishabh has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operation Research from University of California, Berkeley, California, U.S.A.. After completion of Bachelor’s degree, he had joined Goldman Sachs, USA as an Analyst for two years. Rishabh is a motivated self starter with strong inter personal skills. The role of Rishabh is to co-ordinate and assist in strategic planning, look after the External and Internal interface, assist with inputs and data required to make strategic decision, help in business presentation & tie-ups with external and internal stakeholders.
Director, R & D
Dr. Raj B. Durairaj finished his PhD from the University of Madras in 1981. He then moved to
USA and worked as a Research Associate (Post-Doctoral Fellow) at Case Western Reserve
University, Drexel University and University of Connecticut for 5 ½ years. After this, he joined
and worked as the Director of R&D at Indspec Chemical Corporation. USA (World’s Largest
Manufacture of Resorcinol) for 21 years. During this time, he invented many resins or products
for improving the Steel Cords Adhesion to Rubber Compounds in Tires. His patented product
“Penacolite® B20S” resin is a well-known bench mark product in the Tire Industry for Radial
Tire productions. He is the author of a book titled: Resorcinol: Chemistry, Technology and
Applications, published by Springer, Germany in 2005. He also worked in the Senior level
positions in China (Chief Technology Officer) and India (Technical Director) for nearly 15 years
before joining Finorchem as the Director of R&D in April 2022. He has more than 125 world-
wide patents and patent applications to his credits and published about 50 technical articles in
reputed international journals.
Director - Marketing & Tech. Services
With over four decades of experience, Mr. Kishor Katkar has an expertise in Sales & Marketing, Technical Services, Business Development, Product Management, Operations and Quality Assurance He is Post Graduate in Organic Chemistry & Diploma in Business Management from University of Mumbai and a Diploma holder from Plastic & Rubber Institute, London. He has worked for Lanxess, a German MNC at various Senior Management levels, which is a leading manufacturer & supplier of Synthetic Rubbers. He has also worked with ISRL as Vice President (Heading Technical & Business Development). He is closely associated with AIRIA (All India Rubber Industry Association), IRI (Indian Rubber Institute), IRMRA & various other rubber bodies and associations of repute. Recently appointed on advisory committee of R&D of IRMRA as well as a member of various committees of BIS & ISO in the past. He has a varied international exposure comprising of dealing with clients across Asia Pacific. An effective communicator with excellent relationship building & interpersonal skills. Adept at maintaining fruitful professional relation with customers.
CFO & Company Secretary
Mr. B. Unnikrishnan Nair is a Fellow Member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India, an Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India and he has also done an Advanced Programme in Financial Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. He is a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Level Finance Executive & Company Secretary with around 30 years of total experience including 25 years of post – professional qualification. He is experienced in the field of Finance, Banking, Accounts, Corporate Tax, Company Secretarial, Corporate Governance functions, etc. in both listed and unlisted companies. His proficiency lies in monitoring & implementing internal control systems for all financial and statutory matters. He has in depth knowledge and expertise in Capital Markets, including Listing of Shares and Compliance with listing norms, Companies Act, SEBI Rules and Guidelines and Corporate Governance. He also has expertise in raising required credit facilities from banks.
Vice President - Corporate Accounts
A professional with comprehensive experience in the areas of Taxation covering Accounts finalization, Audit, Direct Tax and Corporate Finance. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant passed in the year 2006 from ICAI. He has Worked for Hindusthan National Glass and Industries Limited, Kolkata as Senior Manager and looked after finalization of annual and quarterly accounts alongwith other group of companies. He has Played a key role of team leader for conversion of IGAAP accounts.
Manager - Foreign Trade
Mr. Pawan Kumar Jha is a Commerce graduate from Calcutta University with over 30 years of experience. He is the Senior Manager – Foreign Trade of the Company since 2012 and is heading the import/export division. He has previously worked in ANIROX PIGMENTS LIMITED looking after the entire gamut of Export & Import documentation, statutory compliance with pre shipment & Post shipment procedures, Bank negotiation, Customs House, Banking Authority, freight forwarders, Clearing Agents, etc. He also worked with ALOM EXTRUSION LIMITED dealing in Aluminium Extruded Products as a Manager (Foreign-Trade) and as a Senior Manager-Foreign Trade in SREE METALIKS LIMITED (Manufacturer-Exporter) looking after the entire Import & export business before joining Acme Group of Companies.
Director – AVP Projects & Operations
Mr R B Vishwanath a Graduate from University of Madras and professionally trained in chemical technology has over 35 years of experience in the chemical process industry. He started his career with Parke Davis in 1986 in the Process Development Lab. Thereafter in his 15 years long association with Resonance Specialities, was responsible for Piloting, commissioning and operations of vapour phase catalytic continuous flow production units of Pyridines and higher homologous Pyridines as General Manager Operations. He also worked with Arch Pharmalabs, Ltd. as Assistant Vice President Operations handling enzymatic cryogenic reactions in the manufacturing of lipid lowering intermediates, BOC products using Diazomethane, intermediates of Isoxazoles, Organo Phosphorous chemicals and its Oximation. He started his tenure with Merchem in 2003 manufacturing of Rubber Chemicals and played key roles in the operations. In his current role in Finorchem heading the site, responsible for the start-up of Rubber accelerators, Antiozonant plants and achieving their operational efficiencies.
Director -Product Development & Quality
B.Jayamani is a Chemist and passed out LPRI (London ) in Rubber technology and now Fellow in Indian Rubber institute . He also completed PG Diploma in Business Administration, He worked for 46 years in a reputed leading tyre company in India . His area of expertise includes New material development for the current and future technological developments in the Tyre industry to meet customer requirements .
Vast practical Knowledge in Raw material Quality control and Vendor development by way of auditing the Vendors to upgrade the quality system and procedure for consistent quality. Involved in Alternate and cost effective material sources evaluation Knowledge on interpretation of results generated by advanced sophisticated Analytical equipments like TGA, DSC, FTIR ,ICP , Pyrolysis GC MS, HPLC and GC and carry out reverse Engineering of Rubber product for Formula reconstitution . Familiar with various microscopic analytical technique to identify the defects in the products.
Compounding knowledge to select the right choice of material for the intended application, Was a Member in various institutions like BIS, NABL ,IRMRA , ACS He is the Current IRI HO Education committee chairman and GC member in IRI HO .
