It is a rubber soluble zinc soap resulting in faster physical peptization of natural rubber. Peptization action starts in the lower temperature range of compounding, which leads to shorter mixing cycles. It is suitable for mastication in a separate stage, as well as for single stage mixing.The shore hardness of the vulcanizates is not influenced. It being highly soluble in rubber, it does not bloom from the vulcanizates. Reduction of high dosages of stearic acid is necessary in this with Dosages 3 to 5 phr.

ACMETOL 60 can be used in all types of rubber.
ACMETOL 60 helps rapid incorporation of the fillers which leads to a shorter mixing cycle. T he Shore hardness of the vulcanizates is not influenced. Being rubber soluble, ACMETOL 60 does not bloom from the vulcanizates. Reduction of high dosages of stearic acid or paraffins is possible.
